I’m an innovative thinker, public speaker, strategist, and connector of people and ideas through my efforts as President of the Cannabis Society and my medical cannabis advocacy at the Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance.
My name is Michael Latulippe and I like to make waves. My background is a convergence of political science and computer science. Branding, political and media strategy, thinking outside the box, and connecting people together is my expertise. I love connecting people together through the cannabis meetup community I co-founded called the Cannabis Society with chapters in New York City, Boston, Denver, and San Francisco. My education is in political science but my passion is for branding and new technologies. The passion I felt for technology drove me to learn the software language PHP and develop expert front-end development skills for Websites and graphic design. Through the technology meetup group I founded called Bay Area Software Engineers (BASE) in San Francisco I helped organize events for some of the largest companies in tech including Google, Oracle, and Microsoft. Working as the Development Director of Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance is giving me the ability to engage both my education and passions through developing strategy for media and public policy while engaging in non-profit fundraising, outreach, writing, and community leadership.
